Pignut Hickory

Purpose: Boron toxicity is an important factor, which reduces crop productivity, quality and medicinal characteristics around the world. Research method: This research was conducted to investigate the effect of different boron B concentrations on growth, chemical and physiological characteristics of Satureja hortensis plants under greenhouse conditions inTreatments were different B concentrations as H 3 BO 3 that used via irrigation water including 0, 5, 10, 25 and 50 mg L —1.

Limitations: No significant limitation to report. Moradinezhad, F. Physiological, chemical and growth responses of summer savory Satureja hortensis L. Home Physiological, chemical and growth responses of summer savory Satureja hortensis L.

Savory Gardening: Growing your own herbs isn't hard — and cooking with them can be delicious

SJC Master Gardeners live in two of the least populated Texas counties, but our territory is rich in flora and fauna. Our members come from San Jacinto and Polk Counties and share their knowledge of and passion for horticulture. We are life-long learners and trained volunteers who give time, knowledge, and expertise with propagation and growing plants to improve the quality of life for neighbors and visitors to our East Texas community. Our monthly social and educational outings take us to regional parks, horticulture centers, museums, birding sites, and much more. These half-day events are fun learning experiences that help us build bonds of friendship as we deepen our education of horticulture. If you have a love of gardening that pushes you to learn more about native plants, watering techniques, naturally improving the soil, and sharing your passion with the community and lifelong horticulture learners, then come join SJC Master Gardeners. Our next class begins Thursday, September 15, in person, and most classes will be held at the Shepherd Community Center. Plans for the curriculum are still underway but should include several field trips to get hands-on in several classes. Masks are encouraged but not required and we will practice safe distancing. Members of our chapter will be available at every class to answer questions and participate in discussions.

Before changing fields, I was a district manager in retail where I enjoyed training teams and using my creativity to revamp stores. Constant goal attainment made the long hours satisfactory for a while, but I wanted to spend energy on something that would help others and feed my soul.

Elke keer as ek uitgaan, moes ek net die geur geniet.
